Overview

Workflows in gaiia accelerate agents' tasks by allowing them to complete complex workflows with a few clicks and an automated follow-up. A Service Cancellation Workflow allows users to cancel a service and close an account at a specified date. The worklfow links all of the necessary steps to cancel an account, including:

  • Cancelling internet provisioning and other services
  • Stopping billing and applying a credit/refund, if applicable. 
  • Initiating a Shipment Return workflow, if applicable

Create a service cancellation workflow

To cancel a client service, go to the client account > Workflow > + Add > Service cancellation > add a date and cancellation reason, check the confirmation box > Submit

 

Manual Interventions

The Actions button allows users to change the status and the logic of the workflow when the request doesn't go as intended. This is necessary to solve issues.

Warning: Use carefully as these actions can't be reverted.

Cancel service cancellation

It is possible to cancel the service cancellation by using the Actions button > Cancel workflow. To proceed, the workflow status must still be ongoing. This will revert the account to the active state before the cancellation is initiated.

Reschedule service cancellation

You can also reschedule the service cancellation if a customer wants to change the date. Go to Action buttons > reschedule. Only a new date need to be filled and submit the change. The request will be updated right away.

Warning: the request must still be ongoing to be able to change the cancellation date.
