Overview

This release note highlights significant improvements such as streamlined ticket handling, improved checkout and client portal functions and enhanced user interface features. It also includes bug fixes to optimize system functionality and user experience.

Product Update

User interface

  • Implemented a new Help & Support tab in the main navigation

  • Now shows a warning when creating an account if one already exists at the same physical address

  • Added work phone and role information in the account side panel under Contact Information
    • The role field has been introduced to facilitate the identification of key individuals, such as the homeowner. This feature can also be utilized to record other pertinent information relevant to customer management.
  • Displayed account's commercial names under Account information
    • Note: Editing commercial name functionality will be added in a few weeks
  • Renamed “Public ticket” to External ticket
  • Now support ticket comments with attachments only
    • text is not required if an attachment is added to the comment

Checkout

  • Now supports automatically applying an activation fee on orders at Checkout

    • Fees are off by default, and can only be enabled by our team for now. Please contact our support team if you are interested in knowing more
  • Informed users in the Payment method step of the Checkout about additional payment method options available in the customer portal if applicable

  • If your instance of gaiia accepts bank payments, a callout will inform your new customers at checkout that they will have the option to use it after they subscribed

Client Portal

  • Enabled customers to add their bank account as a payment method through Stripe in the customer portal
    • This feature is off by default, and can only be enabled by our team for now. Please contact our support team if you are interested in knowing more

  • Made the uniqueness of inventory item fields case-insensitive
