Overview

gaiia’s checkout allows your prospects to subscribe for various services from an online sign-up flow. Services Plans allows you to control which subscriptions are sold through the checkout, including Internet plans, routers, mobile and residential voice plans.

In this article, we’ll be covering how to access Service Plans, configure which subscriptions are offered, and how to highlight a "Most Popular" plan to guide customers toward a preferred option.

When to Use This Feature

Use this feature if you plan on using the Checkout to sell subscriptions for Internet plans, routers, mobile and residential plans.

Accessing Service Plans

To start, navigate to Admin Settings > Checkout - Plans.

From here, you’ll be working with Service Plans. These represent the different checkout pages (for example, Internet, Router, or Mobile phone). Each one can be enabled and configured individually or deactivated entirely.

Activating or deactivating a Service Plan determines whether its page appears in the checkout flow. Deactivated plans are hidden from consumers.

Configuring service plans

To configure service plans, click the ellipsis menu on the right-hand side of the service plan section, then click Configure plans.

Once inside a Service Plan configuration page, you’ll see options for how products display. To configure products:

  1. Under Selection Settings, decide whether a customer must select a plan. If this is toggled off, customers will be able to skip this page by clicking I don't need this right now.
  2. In the Select product categories area, associate one or many product categories (for example, Internet Plan) from your product catalog.

Once a category is linked, any product configured in your catalog with that category will automatically display on the page, assuming it is available at the specified address, including its descriptions, translations, features, and pricing, after the customer selects an Account Type.

Be cautious—adjustments here apply in real time. For example, if you remove the Internet category from the Internet plan, this product will no longer be offered to prospects during checkout.

Highlighting Most Popular Plans

You can highlight a product within a Service Plan as Most Popular. This adds a fiery-orange badge above the product card in checkout, helping customers quickly identify the top pick.

  1. In the plan configuration, scroll to Mark product(s) as Most Popular.
  2. Select the product(s) you want to highlight.

If multiple Most Popular plans are within the same coverage area, only one will have the tag.
