Overview
Workflow icons let you assign a distinct visual identity to each workflow in your library. In this article, we'll be covering where to access the icon picker and how to set or update a workflow's icon.
Where icons appear
Icons are shown in two places across the Workflow Builder:
- Details panel — the icon is shown at the top of the workflow's Details panel inside the builder.
- Workflow launcher — each workflow row displays its icon alongside the workflow name and description in the standard gaiia launcher. If your team uses a custom launcher, icons may not appear there.
Where to set an icon
The icon picker is available in two places:
- When creating a workflow — the icon picker appears at the top of the creation form.
- When editing an existing workflow — open the workflow, click the ... menu in the workflow header, and select Edit workflow details. The icon picker appears at the top of the dialog.
If you skip the icon picker when creating a workflow, the default icon is applied automatically. You can update it at any time.
Set an icon
The icon picker experience is the same whether you're creating or editing a workflow.
- Click the icon picker at the top of the form or dialog. A search modal opens with the full icon library.
- Search by keyword or browse, then click an icon to select it.
- Click Create or Update to save.
