Overview
This release leads with the general rollout of Shop-by-Service in Checkout, gives agents a one-click path from a ticket into a work order, and brings a round of Field Service App fixes and arrival-window polish. Beyond next Monday, a new batch of billing APIs, Custom Objects polish, sales-attributed orders, and the first wave of workflow templates are also queued up.
User interface
Mobile back-to-parent navigation polishExpected: Releasing May 25
Building on the top bar navigation refresh from the previous release, back-to-parent navigation on mobile gets a polish pass for a smoother experience across gaiia.
Billing
Delinquency configuration in workflows Expected: Coming soon
The first wave of the new delinquency workflows rolls out, with more delinquency-related improvements following in the next few releases.
Create invoices through the APIExpected: Coming sooncarried over
A new endpoint lets you create invoices programmatically, opening tighter integrations between gaiia and external billing or revenue systems.
Apply available funds through the API before paymentExpected: Coming soon
A new API capability to apply a customer's available funds before taking a payment, so integrators have more control over how credits and balances are handled at the point of charge.
Checkout
Shop-by-Service Checkout — now live
Checkout asks customers which plan categories interest them — Internet, Mobile, Residential Phone, or TV — and hides the rest, so customers only see plans for the services they are actually shopping for. The panel auto-enables for tenants with two or more optional plan categories configured.
Orders
Create sales-attributed orders directly in gaiiaExpected: Coming soon
Sales agents can now create orders from inside gaiia via a new Create Order action in the Orders module. The checkout runs in an embedded session tied to the logged-in user, so every resulting order and abandoned order is automatically attributed to that agent — no more bookmarked URLs, no more typing agent names into checkout fields.
Tickets
Create a work order from a ticketExpected: Releasing May 25carried over
A new 'Create work order' action inside a ticket creates the work order and auto-links it back to the ticket, with the account and service location pre-filled. Removes the manual hand-off where agents had to leave the ticket, create the work order separately, and remember to link it. Originally pre-announced for May 19; tracking to this release.
Workflows
Workflow TemplatesExpected: Coming soon
Workflow Templates are in active development with a target of June. Trigger selection on workflow creation is already in place; the template admin section and the template application flow are next.
Workforce
Arrival windows sort by start timeExpected: Releasing May 25carried over
Arrival windows on the Appointment Settings page now display in chronological order by start time. A one-time database cleanup script is included so existing arrival windows pick up the new ordering.
Field Service App — second photo upload fix on iOSExpected: Releasing May 25
Resolves an issue where, on iOS, taking a second photo for upload silently failed after the first photo succeeded — techs no longer have to relaunch the app to recover. Ships with Field Service App v1.15.0 via the App Store.
Field Service App — cookies cleared on log outExpected: Releasing May 25carried over
Cookies and session storage in the app's webviews are now cleared on log-out, hardening security ahead of the 2026 native rebuild. Ships with Field Service App v1.15.0 via the App Store.
Tech Platform fixesExpected: Releasing May 25
Two visible fixes on the technician platform: the service address and map are now fully visible on the Work Order Overview tab, and the intermittent 'No technician profile is associated with the current gaiia user' error that some techs hit during the day has been investigated and fixed.
