Overview

This release introduces Custom Objects — a new way to build structured data models directly in gaiia — alongside the Workflow Template Library, which gives teams ready-made starting points for automation. Checkout gains fine-grained control over featured bundles, network site locking ships, and several Field Service App improvements are on the way.

Checkout

Featured bundles settings in checkoutExpected: Coming soon
Tenants can now choose exactly which bundles appear on the featured bundles step of checkout, replacing a configuration that previously required contacting gaiia. Users get a cleaner, more relevant set of choices.

Custom Objects

Custom Objects — coming to gaiiaExpected: Releasing June 8th
Custom Objects is a new module that lets you build your own structured data models directly in gaiia — with custom field types (including text, number, dropdown, and range fields), draft support, record locking, CSV import and export, section grouping, auto-generated IDs, and reporting integration. Once enabled, custom objects can be attached to tickets, workflows, and other records across the platform. To get access, check your permissions with your administrator or contact gaiia.

Network

Lock network sitesExpected: Releasing June 8thcarried over
Network sites can now be locked to designate an external system as the authoritative source of truth, preventing unintended overwrites from other sources and making integration-driven architectures more reliable. This is the foundation for using Netbox as a source of truth for network site data.

Global search handles IP addressesExpected: Releasing June 8th
gaiia's global search now correctly finds records when you search by IP address. Previously, dots in IP addresses were treated as word separators and returned inaccurate results.

Tickets

Business accounts on external ticketsExpected: Coming sooncarried over
External tickets can now be associated with business accounts, giving your team a complete picture of which business a ticket is linked to without having to cross-reference separately.

Workflows

Workflow Template LibraryExpected: Releasing June 15thcarried over
A library of pre-built workflow templates is now available in gaiia. Teams can browse, search, and filter templates by use case, then apply one as a starting point rather than building from scratch. A dedicated admin section lets organizations create and publish their own templates for others to use.

Workforce

Field Service App — choose your preferred map appExpected: Coming sooncarried over
Technicians can now choose between Google Maps and Apple Maps directly in the Field Service App. Tapping an address shows a menu to select the preferred navigation app, and the choice is remembered for future taps.

Field Service App — offline capabilitiesExpected: Coming sooncarried over
The Field Service App is gaining offline support, starting with the ability to toggle technician status and send en-route messages without an active network connection.
