Overview
This release rounds out billing with smarter mass payment handling, ACH safeguards, and clearer subscription names on manual invoices. Checkout gets a redesigned shopping flow built to reduce friction on mobile, and Workforce gains the ability to reschedule appointments with Auto-Assign. The Workflow Template Library and self-serve Auto-Assign controls are also on their way.
Billing
Subscription names on manual invoicesExpected: Releasing June 15th
When generating a manual invoice, the invoice module now displays the custom subscription name you've set, so invoices consistently reflect the names your customers recognize.
Mass payments improvementsExpected: Releasing June 15th
When adding payments in bulk, the same internal payment note is now automatically copied to each payment. You can also generate a deposit slip directly from the same area — no separate step afterwards — and rename a deposit slip after it has been created.
ACH payment delinquency safeguardsExpected: Releasing June 15th
New logic helps prevent an account from being pushed into delinquency when an ACH payment fails more than once, reducing unnecessary service interruptions while a payment is being resolved.
Proration fixes on delinquency reactivationExpected: Releasing June 15th
Resolved two issues where reactivating a delinquent account could add an unexpected proration — one triggered by a speed modification occurring before the reactivation, and one caused by a voided debit on the same service.
Checkout
Improved shopping layoutExpected: Releasing June 15th
The checkout shopping flow has been redesigned to reduce friction, especially on mobile: a fixed bottom navigation bar cuts down on scrolling, a slimmer top nav shows more options above the fold, and a new floating order summary surfaces pricing earlier. The flow is also reordered: Internet, Router, Mobile, Phone, TV, then Add-ons.
Account name field for business signupsExpected: Releasing June 15th
A new checkout setting lets you choose which account types are asked for an account name during signup, so business customers can enter their company name themselves instead of an agent adding it after the order.
Featured bundles settings in checkoutExpected: Releasing June 15th
A new Checkout - Bundles screen under Settings lets you choose exactly which bundles appear on the featured bundles step of checkout, mark a bundle as Most Popular, and arrange the display order with drag-and-drop. Any other eligible bundles still appear later in checkout — just not on the featured step.
Workflows
Workflow Template LibraryExpected: Releasing June 22nd
A library of pre-built workflow templates is coming to gaiia. Teams will be able to browse, search, and filter templates by use case, then apply one as a starting point rather than building from scratch.
Notes on published workflow versionsExpected: Releasing June 15th
You can now leave a note when publishing a new version of a workflow, documenting what changed so collaborators understand each version's intent at a glance.
Workforce
Reschedule with Auto-AssignExpected: Releasing June 15th
Rescheduling a work order now uses an improved calendar view, and you can let Auto-Assign pick the technician when rescheduling — matching the experience of the initial assignment and removing the manual matching step.
Auto-Assign self-serve controlsExpected: Releasing June 22nd
You'll soon be able to turn on Auto-Assign for the Checkout, Client Portal, and Workforce applications yourself from Settings > Appointments, simplifying sandbox testing and production enablement without contacting gaiia.
How we use these release notes
