Overview
We're introducing a new Analytics experience in gaiia. It's currently available as a Research Preview on an opt-in basis, so you can start using it today while we continue to refine it based on your feedback.
In this article, we'll be covering what's changing, how to recognize the new experience, and how to switch between the new and legacy versions during the transition.
Understand what's changing
The Analytics module — both dashboards and reports — is moving to a new, more capable foundation. Your data remains the same; what changes is the experience around it, with a more flexible interface and new self-service capabilities.
While the new experience is in Research Preview, you'll see a purple Research Preview badge next to the Analytics and Reports page titles.
The new experience is available on an opt-in basis. To enable it for your organization, contact our support team at support@gaiia.com.
Expect ongoing improvements to the interface during the preview. Your feedback directly shapes what we refine next.
Switch between the new and legacy experiences
During the transition, you can move between the new experience and the legacy one at any time. The switch lives in the top-right corner of the Analytics and Reports pages.
- On the Analytics page, use the Legacy dashboards toggle.
- On the Reports page, use the Legacy reports toggle.
Turn the toggle on to view the legacy experience, and off to return to the new one. This toggle appears only while both experiences are available to your organization.
Plan for the legacy decommission
The legacy dashboards and reports will be decommissioned on Sept 30th 2026. After that date, only the new experience will be available. We recommend getting familiar with the new experience well ahead of time.
