Overview
The Analytics page gives you a set of ready-to-use dashboards that visualize key metrics across your business. This article is part of the new Analytics experience, currently in Research Preview.
In this article, we'll be covering how to open the Analytics page, navigate between dashboards, and work with the data inside a dashboard.
Open the Analytics page
- From the main navigation, select Analytics.
- Confirm you're in the new experience — you'll see the purple Research Preview badge beside the page title.
Next to the title, the note Data is updated every 2 hours tells you how current the data is.
If you don't see the new experience, check that the Legacy dashboards toggle in the top-right corner is turned off.
Navigate between dashboards
Each available dashboard appears as a tab near the top of the page. Select a tab to open that dashboard:
- Accounts
- Finance
- Checkout
- Workforce
- Inventory
The dashboards available to you depend on your organization's setup, so your tabs may differ.
The previous Accounts overview, Account Issues, and Account Map dashboards are now combined into a single Accounts dashboard.
Filter a dashboard
Dashboards are interactive — you can narrow the data to focus on what matters without leaving the page. The filters available on a dashboard depend on the filter tiles the person who built it added. Use them to narrow the data shown across the dashboard, for example by date range, market, or status.
Work with a dashboard
Inside a dashboard, you can go beyond viewing the charts and act on the data directly. Hover over a dashboard tile to reveal additional options:
- Ask a follow up question — start a conversation with the Dashboard Agent to explore the data further.
- View in workbook — open the underlying query in a workbook to build your own version.
- Download... — export the data to use it elsewhere.
- Alert... — get notified when a condition you define is met.
- Schedule delivery — receive the data on a recurring schedule.
These actions are covered in detail in the article on creating custom reports and dashboards.
