Overview
This release brings finer control across the board: dispatch teams get more say over who gets auto-assigned and can update work orders in bulk, billing teams can restrict payment methods and move accounts back through collections, and network teams get archiving, status filters, and clickable topology maps. The v1 API keeps expanding, and the workflow builder picks up a few quality-of-life touches. Here is a preview of what's coming so you can prepare.
Accounts
Communication types for account contactsExpected: Releasing July 20th
Each contact on an account or business account gains a Communication Types setting — Account and Services, Orders and Checkout, Billing and Payments, and Work Orders — so system messages only reach the contacts set up to receive them. Existing behaviour is preserved until you edit a contact, so nothing changes on day one.
More v1 API endpoints for accounts, addresses, and documentsExpected: Releasing July 20th
The public v1 API adds a queryable findAddress lookup, a new mutation to delete documents, and the ability to filter accounts by their readable ID — giving integration builders more to work with. See the developer documentation for details.
Billing
Restrict which payment methods can be usedExpected: Releasing July 20th
You can block specific payment methods from being used, either across every account or on a single account — useful when a method has caused repeated failures or shouldn't be offered to a particular customer.
Move accounts from Write-Off back to DisconnectedExpected: Releasing July 20th
Accounts that were moved to the Write-Off collections step can be transitioned back to the Disconnected step, giving billing teams a way to correct a step change without workarounds.
Checkout
Default account type shown firstExpected: Releasing July 20th
In checkout, the account type dropdown leads with your default account type and sorts the rest alphabetically, instead of pure alphabetical order — so the most common choice (usually Residential) is right at the top.
Inventory
Minimum and maximum stock thresholdsExpected: Releasing July 20th
Set minimum and maximum stock thresholds for inventory, either globally or per zone, through the UI or the API — making it easier to keep the right amount of equipment on hand.
Network
Archive network sitesExpected: Releasing July 20th
Network sites can be archived, so your sites list stays focused on what's active without permanently losing older records.
Site status as a column and filterExpected: Releasing July 20th
Site status appears as a column on the sites list and can be used to filter it, making it quicker to find sites in a particular state.
Jump from the topology map to a deviceExpected: Releasing July 20th
Nodes on the topology map link straight to the device's inventory page, so you can go from the network view to the underlying device in one click.
Orders
Created by and last updated by columns on ordersExpected: Releasing July 20th
Orders tables gain Created by and Last updated by columns, so you can see who's responsible for an order at a glance without opening it or setting up an attribution profile.
Products
Product category for TV plans and add-onsExpected: Releasing July 20th
A new product category type for TV plans and add-ons lets you model television offerings alongside your existing internet and voice products.
Workflows
Keep your place when switching between execution and definitionExpected: Releasing July 20th
The workflow builder remembers which node you had selected and preserves your canvas position when you move between the execution and definition tabs, making it easier to troubleshoot a workflow without losing your spot.
Duplicate and delete sticky notesExpected: Releasing July 20th
Sticky notes in the workflow builder can be copied and deleted, a small touch that makes annotating your workflows faster.
Workforce
Exclude a technician from automated assignmentExpected: Releasing July 20th
A toggle on the technician profile lets you exclude someone from auto-assignment without touching their qualifications. Excluded technicians won't be picked by auto-assign in Checkout, the Client Portal, or the Scheduling Modal, but dispatchers can still assign them manually.
Bulk edit work order statusExpected: Releasing July 20th
Update the status of many work orders at once: select any number of rows in the work order table, choose a new status, and apply it across the whole selection in a single action — no more updating them one by one.
Travel time back to base shown for everyoneExpected: Releasing July 20th
The schedule shows a return-to-base travel block after a technician's last work order of the day, with calculated hours updated to match. This helps dispatchers avoid accidentally scheduling into a technician's drive home.
Field Service App: maintenance mode and smoother required updatesExpected: Coming soon
Version 1.16 of the Field Service App adds a maintenance-mode message for outages and a cleaner flow when a new app version is required, so technicians get clearer guidance during incidents and updates.
How we use these release notes
These notes represent a projection of upcoming changes over the next few weeks. Timelines may vary, and details may evolve. We may also update this article with additional information once features are fully released. Note that we only share changes that have a visible impact on the platform — many more improvements ship behind the scenes without appearing in the release notes, whether to stability, performance (such as loading times), or security.
