Overview
This release is mostly about loosening some restrictions: arrival windows that can differ by work type, a webhook timeout you set yourself, and custom objects that accept file uploads and can be renamed after the fact. The work order page gains a side column holding the details dispatchers reach for most. Here is a preview of what's coming so you can prepare.
Analytics
Duplicate a built-in reportExpected: Releasing August 31st
Built-in reports open in the same editing view as your own reports, so you can duplicate one and adapt it instead of rebuilding a similar report from scratch.
Links inside embedded dashboardsExpected: Releasing August 31st
Dashboard dimensions can carry links, so a figure in a dashboard can point straight through to the record behind it.
Checkout
One-page checkoutExpected: Coming soon
Checkout is getting simpler. We're combining the setup and account-details screens that follow plan selection into a single one-page checkout, where customers can enter their personal information, select an appointment, and enter payment details all in one place. The result: fewer screens, and more customers completing their order.
Conversations
Choose the sending number on a new SMS conversationExpected: Releasing August 31st
Where you have more than one SMS number, you can pick which one a new conversation sends from instead of working around a single default.
Inbox badges count unread conversations onlyExpected: Releasing August 31st
The badge on a conversation inbox counts unread conversations rather than every conversation in the inbox, so the number is worth reading again.
Custom Objects
File field type on custom objectsExpected: Releasing August 31st
Custom objects gain a File field, so you can upload and download documents against a record rather than keeping them somewhere else.
Rename a custom object definitionExpected: Releasing August 31st
Object definitions can be renamed after they are created, so a naming decision made early no longer has to be lived with.
Inventory
Assign users to an inventory location or zoneExpected: Releasing August 31st
Users can be attached to an inventory location or zone, which is the first step toward a personal view of the stock you are responsible for, such as what is currently in your truck.
Network
Network sites without a postal addressExpected: Releasing August 31st
A network site can be created without a postal address, so sites that only have coordinates no longer need a placeholder address to be set up.
Orders
Quick actions for sales agentsExpected: Releasing August 31st
Sales agents building an order through the sales order flow can now waive specific checkout requirements per order — like a required payment method, auto-pay enrolment, or upfront activation/subscription fees — using a new Quick actions panel. Learn more about this feature here.
Tickets
Your own custom status names in ticket notificationsExpected: Releasing August 31st
Where you have renamed your ticket statuses, status-updated notifications now use your names instead of the underlying system ones. If you have renamed statuses, the wording your customers receive will change.
External ticket updates keep linked entitiesExpected: Releasing August 31st
An integration pushing a ticket update no longer removes the entities linked to that ticket. This affects anyone running a two-way ticket integration.
Workflows
Select multiple nodes for bulk editor actionsExpected: Releasing August 31st
Select several nodes on the canvas, by click-modifier or drag selection, and copy, duplicate, delete, or move them together as one block instead of one at a time.
Configure a longer webhook synchronous timeoutExpected: Releasing August 31st
You can set how long a webhook trigger holds the connection open waiting for its synchronous result mapper, raised from a fixed twenty seconds or so up to two minutes. The trigger needs a synchronous result mapper already configured.
Workforce
Arrival windows by work typeExpected: Releasing August 31st
Arrival windows can be set per work type, overriding your global windows for bookings of that type, which is useful where an installation needs a wider window than a service call. The setting applies everywhere a window is offered, including checkout, the client portal, and internal assignment.
Key work order fields move into a side columnExpected: Releasing August 31st
Work orders gain a right-hand column holding the details technicians and dispatchers reach for most, including status, priority, vendor, work date, technician assignment, service location, and duration. This is a noticeable layout change, so it reaches a first group of users on the release date and everyone else the following week.
How we use these release notes
These notes represent a projection of upcoming changes over the next few weeks. Timelines may vary, and details may evolve. We may also update this article with additional information once features are fully released. Note that we only share changes that have a visible impact on the platform — many more improvements ship behind the scenes without appearing in the release notes, whether to stability, performance (such as loading times), or security.
